The World Congress represents an opportunity for discussion in a Plenary Auditorium of the key issues in the domain of Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Prevention. It will be a unique forum for exploring themes of the utmost importance for the future of TCM, including the latest cutting-edge techniques and technologies. A series of parallel sessions will complete the main one and special sessions devoted to prevention and addressed specially to the public will be prepared.
In the lobby of Estoril Congress Center a major exhibition will be held, dedicated to products linked to the profession. Dedicated Associations, Universities and Schools will also be invited to participate, presenting papers of their researches in several areas of expertise.
We are working with the competent entities in the fields of the arts and culture, to create an exhibition entitled: “Art, Science, Health and Culture”. In this exhibition, we intend to merge West and East, joining past, present and future.
At the official opening we will pay tribute to the greatest experts of TCM: Giovanni Maciocia, Wang Ning Sheng and Tao Kun.

Portugal as a world pioneer in the field of legislation, recently saw approved at a governmental level the ordinances regarding the professional certificates of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The country is built on centuries of tradition and long history: keeping the same border for more than eight centuries, as one of the oldest countries in Europe.
Estoril and its surroundings are universally known as one of the world’s most beautiful tourist area; surrounded by a range of unique characteristics, hard to find in any other place.
